Everyone wants their family to be happy, healthy, and safe. We give all we have of our time, energy and resources to ensure this is possible. However, there are times when even the best of families need a helping hand along the journey. Janice has devoted her entire career to providing this helping hand.
Janice received her Bachelor of Science in Art Therapy, with honors, from the University of Evansville. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Child and Family Counseling, with honors, from the University of Southern Indiana. From the beginning, Janice has concentrated her counseling exclusively within the treatment of children, adolescents and their families of all ages. Prior to private practice, she worked in various settings ranging from inpatient mental health, residential care, special education, senior care, and outpatient counseling. In private practice Janice provides counseling with issues related to depression, anxiety, divorce recovery, school issues, parenting skills, trauma, aging and caregiver support.
Janice began her 20 plus year career in Indianapolis, Indiana. She currently resides on the beautiful lakeshore in Southwest Michigan and maintains a professional presence in both communities. Janice is married to her husband of twenty years and is the lucky mother of two young adult children.
